Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician in Prescott Valley, AZ. The role includes maintaining campus safety, guiding students in daily living activities, and observing progress toward treatment goals within a trauma-informed framework.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and at least two years of related education/experience in human services or behavioral health; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Background check required; must obtain Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• High school diploma or GED plus two years of related experience in human services, behavioral health, social services, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Maintain safety, accountability and security of campus.
• Teach, coach and supervise students in daily living activities and routines on and off campus.
• Observe peer culture for patterns indicating progress or regression.
• Monitor individual student behavior over time and track progress toward treatment goals.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Follow and implement individual treatment plans for all students.
• Identify escalating behaviors and intervene to ensure safety.
