PATH (People Acting to Help), Inc. is seeking a Residential Behavior Tech (RBT) to deliver direct care, support, and supervision for residents.

The role works as part of the BHDD RTF-A treatment team to promote a safe, therapeutic environment and help residents achieve greater independence. The position requires a high school diploma (GED) with preference for an associate degree in human services and at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS diploma/GED required.
• Associates or higher in human services preferred.
• 2 years direct experience with behavioral health or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to relate positively to individuals with serious behavioral health issues with co-occurring autism or intellectual disability.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of residents at all times.
• Maintain a supportive, therapeutic relationship with each resident.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support residents’ independence by participating in program planning and goal setting.
• Coordinate regular social activities on and off campus with residents.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities as assigned.
• Ensure documentation is completed timely and accurately, including shift notes and progress toward goals.
