Job summary

A dedicated care organization in Maine is looking for compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to assist individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. As an RBT, you will implement behavioral interventions under the guidance of BCBA, support individuals in daily activities, and ensure effective communication within your team. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Health and Human Services preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans under BCBA guidance.
• Accurately complete clinical and program-related documentation daily.
• Assist with development and review of data collection tools.
• Identify behavior-environment relationships and support interventions.
• Monitor behavior plans and assist with treatment integrity.
• Collaborate with treatment team members.
• Participate in 1:1 and group supervisions.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors.
• Manage aggressive behavior using de-escalation techniques.
• Support training for staff on ABA interventions.
• Adhere to the RBT Code of Ethics.
