Behavioral Focus, LLC is a faith-based agency providing ABA-based therapy to learners with ASD. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works under BCBA/BCaBA supervision and directly implements programs from ITP and BRP components.
The role involves 1:1 or group client care, data collection, progress notes, and communicating with families and supervisors. Candidates should have a high school diploma (30 college credits) and ABA experience; preferred are a bachelor’s/master’s in related fields
Behavioral Focus, LLC is a faith based agency that provides therapy based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to learners diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and is responsible for the direct implementation of programs identified in the individual treatment plans (ITP) and components of behavior reduction plans (BRP).
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to lift and carry clients with adaptive equipment. Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
Works in the clinical (office) setting, in schools, the community and in client homes.
Required: High School Diploma and 30 hours of college coursework from an accredited university or junior college. Or experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis services may be substituted for hours of completed college coursework.
Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Hearing Services, or related field. One (1) year experience working in a clinical, home or educational setting with individuals with special needs. Registered Behavior Technician credential from BACB®
