Job summary

QSAC is hiring an Assistant Manager for OPWDD-funded Residential Program in New York. The role ensures a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment and supervises staff to promote independence and personal goals for those served.

Qualifications

• Requires 1–2 years driving large passenger vehicles.
• 1–2 years supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory work experience.
• Clearance through state mandated background/fingerprint check.
• Must communicate effectively with others and individuals served.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Residential Operations including care and safety tasks.
• Supervise DSP staff and coordinate scheduling for residences.
• Ensure program goals are implemented by staff.
• Maintain records and coordinate with nurses and coordinators.
