Job summary

Life's New Beginning in York, PA seeks an Area Supervisor to oversee multiple residential group homes, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services for adults with IDD and mental health needs. You will lead staff, maintain trauma-informed practices, and coordinate care with families and professionals.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of relevant experience, supervisory background, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disability and/or mental health disorders.
• Supervisory/management experience is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a set of residential group homes and manage overall quality of services.
• Train, mentor, and supervise direct support professionals (DSP).
• Facilitate team meetings and coordinate with families and professionals.
• Identify and report mental health symptoms or behaviors of concern.
• Be on-call on a rotating schedule; support on-site operations typical Monday–Friday with day/evening hours.
