Croyle-Nielsen Therapeutic Associates, Inc. is hiring Residential House Managers to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in group homes in the Johnstown and Somerset, PA areas. The role leads DSPs, trains staff, and ensures a safe, person-centered environment while meeting licensing expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• DSP experience (3 years preferred) with knowledge of supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Pass background checks, physical, and drug screening.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain Medication Practicum Observer Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation within the Somerset and Johnstown areas.
• Caring, patient attitude and passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in achieving personal goals and daily living skills.
• Serve as the first-line supervisor for DSPs by training, coaching, mentoring, and ensuring quality.
• Manage daily operations of a residential group home to ensure a safe, stable, person-centered environment.
• Create staff schedules and ensure staffing levels meet required ratios; work in ratio as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to emergencies and guiding staff while setting boundaries for on-call usage.
• Complete routine audits, checklists, and inspections to stay licensing-ready at all times.
• Oversee medical appointment coordination and accompany individuals to appointments; ensure documentation is timely.
• Submit required documentation and monitor team’s daily notes for timeliness and quality.
• Support new hires through shadow shifts and follow-up coaching.
• Collaborate with residential office management to address concerns and improve service quality.
