Job summary

Penn-Mar is seeking a Residential Supervisor to lead Direct Support Professionals across multiple settings, including homes and community sites. The role emphasizes effective supervision, scheduling, documentation, and adherence to health, safety, and licensing requirements.

The position requires a minimum of two years in IDD direct support and two years of supervisory experience, with a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma (college preferred).

Qualifications

• MINIMUM 2 years of direct support/working with the IDD population.
• MINIMUM 2 years of supervising a team of more than 2 people.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with at least 2 years of driving experience and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) within a location.
• Schedule team members and manage on-call responsibilities.
• Ensure certifications and mandatory trainings are completed.
• Complete required documentation and maintain health and safety standards.
• Lead department meetings and participate in licensing reviews.
• Oversee budgeting, billing documentation, and program operations.
