Job summary

The Connection Inc. in New Haven is seeking a Residential Aide to provide direct client care, assist with activities of daily living, and support safety, health and wellness in a supervised setting.

Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide collaborates with the Residential Behavioral Health Treatment team to help clients recover from mental illness, homelessness, and substance use, while maintaining a respectful, harm-free environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent.
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License.
• High School Diploma / GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care including activities of daily living.
• Support safety, health and wellness in a supervised setting.
• Assist program staff and maintain respectful relationships with residents.
• Contribute to a safe, harm-free environment and support recovery goals.
