Job summary

Community Housing Innovations (CHI) in NYC seeks a Residential Aide to oversee safety and monitor resident conduct during tours of duty. You will coordinate client movement with staff and uphold security procedures across shifts.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, flexibility for nights/weekends, and strong English communication; First Aid/CPR certification is preferred. Benefits include PTO, health plans, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, nights and/or weekends and overtime if necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English proficiency required; multilingual abilities prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Maintains visibility to residents by wearing Safety Monitor vest and ID badge and inspects site through regular tours of the property.
• Screens all clients and visitors to the facility.
• Enforces site policies and educates residents on rules and regulations.
• Reviews video cameras and monitors area consistently.
• Documents shift activities and incidents accurately, including logs and case notes.
