Community Housing Innovations, Inc. (CHI) in Midtown Manhattan, NY seeks a Residential Aide to coordinate safety and resident movement while supporting staff on shift.

The role operates with 4pm-12am Wed-Sun or 12am-8am Tue-Sat, non-exempt and overtime eligible, with benefits including health plans, retirement, and education opportunities. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years in a related field, HS diploma or GED, and certifications in First Aid/CPR and Fire Safety; bilingual skills are a

Competenze

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in English.
• Multilingual and Spanish proficiency prioritized.
• High school diploma or GED required/preferred.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends; overtime possible.
• First Aid/CPR certification required or obtained within 60 days of employment.
• F-02 or F80 Fire Safety Coordinator certification required or obtained within 30 days.

Mansioni

• Ensure safety and security of residents, visitors, staff, and property.
• Screen clients and visitors; enforce site policies and rules.
• Monitor CCTV and area; provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation during shifts.
• Inspect units for attendance and readiness for new placements.
• Coordinate with Building Superintendent on site conditions and repairs.
• Preform front desk duties and serve as liaison with the community.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
