The Connection Inc. in Middletown, CT is seeking a Residential Aide for Connection House to support justice-involved men re-entering the community. This full-time role provides structure, supervision, and compassionate client-centered care while maintaining professional boundaries.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED (or an Associate’s Degree) and a valid driver’s license, with 2+ years of relevant experience in residential settings or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree may substitute for experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

Position: Residential AideProgram: Connection HouseLocation: MiddletownSalary: $20.00/hourSchedule: Full time, 40 hours, 3rd shift, Friday-Tuesday (11-7a)Program Summary:Connection House is a residential work release program that provides educational and addiction services to adult males with substance use issues who are preparing to exit the criminal justice system. The three main purposes of the program are to maintain healthy recovery, secure employment, and become productive citizens.Position Summary:This Residential Aide- will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure and supervision to justice involved men as they re-enter the community after a period of incarceration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice involved or have a client/customer support background and be highly motivated to help others make positive change.
