Job summary

The Connection, Inc. seeks a Residential Aide in Middletown, CT. You will provide structured supervision to justice-involved men re-entering the community and support their transition after incarceration.

The ideal candidate has prior Residential Aide or related client-support experience, holds a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrates a client-centered, compassionate approach with strong boundaries and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED with 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent or an Associate's Degree
• Valid Driver’s License
• Regular and predictable attendance required

Position: Residential AideProgram: Eddy CenterLocation: MiddletownSalary: $20.00/hourSchedule: Full time, 40 hours, 3rd shift, Friday-Monday (10-8a)Program Summary:The Eddy Center is a residential housing program that provides individualized treatment services, substance use and mental health education, and job preparation to adult males who are under DOC's supervision so they can successfully re-enter their communities and avoid re-offending.Position Summary:This Residential Aide will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure and supervision to justice involved Men as they re-enter the community after a period of incarceration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice involved or have a client/customer support background and be highly motivated to help others make positive change.
