Job summary

The Salvation Army in Knoxville, TN is seeking a dedicated Residential Supervisor to oversee client activities in a transitional housing setting. You will supervise staff, maintain records, and ensure safety protocols are followed to support positive client outcomes.

Responsibilities include daily resident contact, bed checks, hygiene assistance, and incident reporting. Strong communication and judgment are essential, with the ability to work as part of a team and under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and one year of related work experience, preferably in a social service setting.

• Maintains and updates records of program residents and completes required paperwork, documentation and statistics.
• Reports problems, emergencies, and violations to Case Management and Program Director, in writing and orally.
• Communicates major incidents to Case Manager and Program Director; supports ongoing information exchange.
