Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time Residential Support Assistant to supervise clients in a residential facility. You will monitor daily activities, maintain records, and communicate with supervisors to ensure a supportive, stable environment that promotes positive client morale and stabilization.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention as needed, driving to transport clients, and strict adherence to confidentiality and program policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required, plus one year of relevant social service experience or equivalent.
• Ability to perform crisis intervention and maintain client records with confidentiality.
• Valid driver license and ability to transport clients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision, monitoring, and support to clients in a residential facility.
• Maintain records and communicate with supervisor about daily activities.
• Facilitate a stable emotional environment and support client morale.
• Occasionally drive to transport clients and participate in crisis intervention as needed.

Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (25 hours per week)This position is responsible for:Provides daily supervision, monitoring, reporting, and technical support services to clients in a residential facility; maintains appropriate records in addition to ongoing written and verbal communication with the supervisor in relationship to daily client activities; facilitates an emotional and physical environment conducive to enhancing positive client morale and stabilization.
