Manna Of Life Ministries Inc in The Bronx, NY is seeking a compassionate Residential Advisor to provide direct support to residents, help navigate daily life, and promote personal growth in a faith-based community.

You will supervise daily activities, respond to crises, maintain records, and collaborate with case managers to help residents reach their goals while fostering a safe, respectful, and structured living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services preferred.
• Experience in residential care or social services preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations.
• Empathetic and patient with vulnerable populations.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends/overnight.
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support residents in daily living activities and routines
• Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed
• Maintain accurate resident records, logs, and incident reports
• Enforce facility rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and structured environment
• Conduct regular check-ins and monitor resident well-being
• Collaborate with case managers, counselors, and program staff to support resident goals
• Facilitate group activities, house meetings, and community-building events
