Job summary

Career Systems Development Corporation in Louisiana seeks a dormitory supervisor dedicated to creating a safe and supportive living environment for students. You will help residents interact with peers and adjust to campus life, while enforcing center policies.

You will supervise daily operations, document student records, facilitate life skills groups, and coordinate with staff to ensure safety, confidentiality, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Valid Driver’s License; Six months’ experience in education or similar field.
• Preferred: BA/BS degree in behavioral health; One year’s experience in education or similar field.
• CPR/First Aid certification may be required or certifiable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist students in hygiene, housing, activities, and transportation.
• Provide informal counseling on stress management and personal issues to students.
• Document student records and input data into CIS per requirements.
• Prepare reports and logs to document daily observations, progress, behavior and safety.
• Facilitate life skills groups and weekly dorm meetings; support student safety and reporting.
