Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. oversees the dormitory operations for the Job Corps center, providing a safe, structured living environment that supports student retention and success.

The Residential Advisor program requires supervising staff, conducting interviews, coordinating coverage, transport as needed, and delivering individualized case management in collaboration with counseling staff. Strong leadership and compliance drive quality services and positive student outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one-year Job Corps or related program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality supervision of the dormitory and live-in staff.
• Interview, hire, discipline and evaluate residential employees.
• Coordinate staff coverage to supervise student areas and manage substitute list.
• Maintain incident and shift reports with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure dorm security and order, order supplies, and initiate repairs as needed.
• Provide individualized case management in collaboration with counseling staff.
• Transport students to and from the Center as required.
• Promote a positive image of the Center and Job Corps with community partners.
