Job summary

Distinction LLC in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Sr. Residential Advisor to supervise and mentor students on the Job Corps Center. You’ll help maintain a safe dorm, monitor schedules, and support educational progress while modeling professional behavior.

The role requires strong communication, CPR/First Aid training, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts. Prior behavioral health experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years’ experience in counseling, education, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to complete mandated trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and mentoring to students adjusting to Center life.
• Ensure students meet schedules and attend school/work on time.
• Maintain clean dorms and prepare daily reports.
• Document student records and progress; manage privacy and safety.
• Facilitate life skills groups and CSS/ employability skills.
• Assist with training new Residential Advisors.
