Mountain Youth Academy, a UHS company near Johnson City, TN, is seeking a Social Worker (MA/MSW) to join a dedicated healthcare team and support behavioral health needs for young adolescents.

The role focuses on coordinating continuing care, conducting interventions, group and family therapy, and developing treatment plans within a residential setting with a strong team dynamic. A $15,000 retention bonus is offered for licensed or licensure-eligible therapists in Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field required.
• LPC or LCSW licensure preferred or candidates eligible to gain licensure in Tennessee.
• Prefer two years’ experience conducting group, individual and family therapy.
• Must communicate effectively with other health care professionals, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate delivery of student continuing care and family services.
• Provide clinical support, interventions, psychosocial assessments, and treatment planning.
• Conduct group, individual, and family therapy.
• Maintain the EHR for patients on caseload and coordinate with dorm teams.
