Job summary

Mountain Youth Academy, a UHS company near Johnson City, TN, seeks a Social Worker (MA/MSW) to lead student care and family services in a 120-bed residential program. Licensed or eligible to gain licensure as LPC/LCSW in Tennessee is preferred.

The role involves psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering group, individual, and family therapy, with supervision provided for licensure. EHR maintenance and collaboration with the dorm team are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field required.
• LPC or LCSW licensure preferred or candidates eligible in Tennessee.
• Supervision available for licensure pursuit.
• Experience in group, individual and family therapy preferred.
• Effective communication with health care professionals required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate delivery of student continuing care and family services.
• Provide clinical support, interventions, psychosocial assessments and treatment planning.
• Conduct group, individual and family therapy.
• Monitor program adherence and coordinate patient care with residential team.
• Attend treatment team meetings and supervision sessions.
• Maintain electronic health records for caseload.
• Communicate with dorm teams and assist with admissions/discharges.
