Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Social Worker (MA/MSW) for Mountain Youth Academy, a UHS facility near Johnson City, TN. The role includes coordinating student care, providing psychotherapy and family services, and maintaining EHRs. Licensed or eligible for licensure as LPC/LCSW in TN is preferred; supervision is provided for licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field.
• LPC or LCSW licensure preferred or eligible to gain licensure in Tennessee.
• Support and supervision provided toward licensure.
• Experience in group, individual and family therapy.
• Strong communication with health care professionals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate delivery of student continuing care and family services.
• Provide clinical support and conduct psychosocial assessments.
• Develop the student’s treatment plan and conduct group, individual and family therapy.
• Monitor program adherence, coordinate care and ICMPs with the residential team.
• Attend treatment team meetings and supervision sessions.
• Maintain the EHR for caseloads and communicate with dorm teams.
• Mentor new therapists and provide admissions/discharge information.
