Job summary
Mountain Youth Academy, a UHS company, is seeking a Therapist (MA/MSW) licensed or eligible for licensure as an LPC/LCSW in Tennessee to oversee clinical care for adolescent residents near Johnson City, TN. The role includes conducting psychosocial assessments, therapies, and treatment planning within a 120-bed residential program.
The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Social Work or related field and licensure eligibility in TN, with supervision provided for licensure track.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field required.
- LPC/LCSW licensure preferred or eligible to gain licensure in Tennessee.
- Two years of experience in group, individual and family therapy preferred.
- Must communicate effectively with health care professionals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate delivery of student continuing care and family services.
- Provide clinical support, conduct interventions and psychosocial assessments.
- Develop treatment plans and conduct group, individual and family therapy.
- Monitor program schedule and coordinate patient care with residential team.
- Attend and contribute to treatment team meetings and supervision.
- Maintain patient EHR and communicate with dorm teams.
- Mentor and orient new therapists; provide admissions/discharge information.
