Job summary

A.T. Still University is seeking a full-time Residential Admissions Recruitment & Retention Coordinator on the Mesa campus to facilitate interview days, guest experiences, and applicant events.

The coordinator will handle hosting, coordination with guests, IDs, and ensuring smooth day-of materials; maintain confidentiality and professional interactions; support mailings, schedules, and campus information.

Qualifications

• Two-year college certificate or equivalency.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Professionalism, public relations, strong social skills, comfortable talking with strangers, and cultural proficiency.
• General office etiquette.
• Ability to maintain confidential records.
• Attention to detail.
• Time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Interview days (2-3x per week, Aug. - May).
• Coordinate hosting and communicating with guests and applicants. Wraps up with applicants and guests at end of Interview Day.
• ID verification of applicants.
• Create a welcoming environment ensuring a positive experience for applicants and visitors; work with ITS to display names of interviewees on media boards.
• Fitting applicants for white coat sizes.
• Prepare all materials needed for efficient interview day visit experience. Assemble and distribute interview day folders and information about campus.
• Mail/Email interview day materials to applicants who interviewed virtually.
• Ensure refreshments are available and visitors are entertained during downtime on interview days.
• Ensure interview day lunches and tours stay on schedule.
• Notify interviewers and Admissions Host of any changes, delays, or other pertinent information.
• Monitor and stock interview day supplies, refreshments, spouse packets, and additional materials as needed.
• Screen applications following program screening rubric/guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
