Job summary

Sunset Woods Senior Living in Wisconsin is actively seeking a Wellness Coordinator to lead the Wellness team and support resident health and safety. The role emphasizes supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating care plans in collaboration with leadership.

The Wellness Coordinator will work to promote CAPLICO values, maintain licensing standards, and respond effectively to emergencies while fostering a compassionate environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must meet Wisconsin state age requirements for the community.
• Must be of good moral character.
• Must be able to obtain criminal history clearance.
• Must comply with all training requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others.
• Have CNA qualifications in the state of Wisconsin
• Have CBRF qualifications in the state of Wisconsin

Responsibilities

• Provides hands-on supervision of assigned Wellness staff, ensuring quality resident care.
• Assists Wellness Director to ensure infection control guidelines are met and appropriate tracking and surveillance procedures are followed.
• Maintains knowledge of current assisted living regulations and ensures compliance with community policies/procedures and state/federal regulations.
• Participates in recruitment, hiring, training and ongoing education of Wellness staff; participates in evaluations and coaching.
• Supervises and directs the clinical care provided by the Wellness staff and ensures service/care plans are followed.
• Responds promptly to and appropriately to resident emergencies.
