Job summary

Sunset Woods Senior Living seeks a Wellness Coordinator to lead our Wellness team, ensuring high-quality resident care and wellness. This role works closely with the Wellness Director to implement policies, safety programs, and staff development.

Direct care is provided as needed while promoting a compassionate, compliant environment. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in health care, current CPR certification, and a valid license or certification as required by regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Current license/certification as required by regulatory bodies.
• Minimum of one year experience in assisted living or health care.
• Prior supervisory experience in health care preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on supervision of Wellness staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Deliver direct resident care as needed to promote wellness and safety.
• Support community policies and programs with the Wellness Director.
• Assist in staff development, leadership, communication, and management skills.
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, training, and coaching of Wellness staff.
• Ensure infection control guidelines are met and tracked per requirements.
• Ensure medication training and monitoring meet regulatory standards.
