Job summary

Sonata Longwood is hiring a Wellness Associate to provide daily care and support to residents based on individual care plans. The role reports to the Wellness Director and Manager, handling routine tasks, safety, and responsive service with a compassionate approach.

The position requires assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring health, managing supplies, and coordinating with the team. Training is provided, and weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Comfort working with seniors.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities.
• Good physical stamina for lifting up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, mobility).
• Monitor health status and report changes to supervisor.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with orders.
• Support shift coverage and orientation for new staff.
• Respond to emergencies and provide basic first aid.
• Keep resident units clean and organized; assist with meals and laundry.
• Document care and participate in in-service education.
