Job summary

Hcshiring is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support Residents under the direction of the Wellness Director and Wellness Manager. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care based on each Resident Service Plan, including daily living activities, health monitoring, and timely reporting of changes in condition.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, mobility, meals, and resident transportation needs; maintaining supplies and records; and helping orient new Wellness Associates.

Qualifications

• Current State Nurse’s Aide registration preferred but NOT REQUIRED.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Able to maintain positive working relationships with Residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assists Residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, mobility).
• Keeps inventory of medical supplies and assists with ordering when necessary.
• Responds to Resident emergencies; provides first-aid and arranges for medical follow-up.
• Maintains records and files according to policy; participates in in-service education.
• May be required to work weekends/holidays and shifts as assigned.
