Job summary

Sonata Lake Mary in Florida is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our resident-focused team, providing care per each Resident Service Plan to promote comfort, dignity, and independence for our residents.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health, maintain clean, organized spaces, help with meals and laundry, and respond to emergencies with first-aid when needed, under the Wellness Director and Wellness Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.
• Ability to build positive relationships with Residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist Residents with activities of daily living.
• Report changes in residents' health to Wellness Director.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering.
• Assist with finding shift coverage when needed.
• Respond to Resident emergencies and provide first aid.
• Keep Resident units clean and neat.
• Assist with meals and laundry as assigned.
