Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living seeks a Life Engagement Coordinator to design and implement resident activities aligned with the Six Dimensions of Wellness. You will oversee engagement staff, coordinate outings, and manage calendars and life stations for Memory Care residents.

The role requires flexibility, including evenings and weekends, and supervision of assistants. A background in elder care and a valid chauffeur license are preferred to support transportation-related activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of experience working with elderly populations.
• Chauffeur license required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement resident activities reflecting individual preferences and Six Dimensions of Wellness.
• Complete Life Story/Six Dimensions assessments for new residents.
• Oversee and mentor Resident Engagement staff and provide training.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise resident outings and community events.
• Maintain activity spaces, supplies, and equipment; manage volunteers.
