Job summary

Taylor’s Hostel Management is seeking a Wellbeing Ambassador to support student wellbeing, nurture community engagement, and deliver the R!SE Residential Living Program within Taylor’s Residence.

The role involves running proactive check-ins, coordinating events with the Marketing team, handling crises, supervising the Resident Buddy system, and ensuring safety, inclusivity, and timely administration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Counselling Psychology, Hospitality, Education, Events Management or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and document management.

Responsibilities

• Run proactive check-ins and support for new residents.
• Conduct validated screening assessments and track outcomes.
• Attend to student issues and respond to high-priority concerns.
• Lead incident response and coordinate with the Manager to resolve.
• Provide immediate crisis support and health emergency responses.
• Manage the Resident Buddy system and coordination.
• Support wellbeing events and engagement activities.
• Rostered nights/weekends and on-call duties as required.
