Job summary

East Ridge Village is seeking a PRN or Part Time Activity Assistant to develop and implement lifestyle programs that promote healthy living, engagement, and growth for residents. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and evaluating activities that enhance the residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly activity calendars, collaborating on holiday events, documenting participation, and communicating program feedback to the Activities Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical program is preferred but not required.
• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lifestyle programming that provides opportunities for residents to promote healthy living, wellbeing, engagement, and growth.
• Prepare and implement activity programs in adherence to the monthly calendar.
• Collaborate in planning activities that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual opportunities for residents.
• Plan holiday and special events and coordinate decorations for the community.
• Assist in coordinating the monthly calendar of events and distributing calendars and flyers.
• Observe and assess resident participation to gauge enjoyment and improve programming.
• Document resident participation in programs and self-directed activities and communicate feedback to the Activities Supervisor.

Education
