Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 3–5 years in utility billing operations.
• GAAP knowledge applied to property management and real estate.
• Experience with utility billing platforms and software.

Responsibilities

• Manage resident utility billing cycles and ensure on-time billing.
• Assist with onboarding communities to Cardinal Group’s platform.
• Collaborate with third parties to ensure data accuracy and upload.
• Process monthly utility billing for assigned portfolio of communities.
• Respond to resident inquiries and provide explanations and support.
• Ensure billing methods comply with jurisdictional regulations and lease terms.
• Respond to inquiries from community managers and on-site teams.
• Compile recovery analysis reports at community and portfolio levels.
• Research and analyze recovery statistics; devise remediation plans.
• Articulate complex billing scenarios to diverse audiences.
• Assist with SOPs, workflows, and success metrics for scalable billing.
