Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living in Colorado Springs is seeking a transportation assistant to provide timely and orderly transportation for residents. This universal role includes driving duties as well as cross-training in dining and light maintenance tasks, with opportunities to assist in various community tasks as directed by the Community Management Team.

The candidate must be at least 18 years old to drive a non-commercial vehicle or 21+ for commercial driving, and must have a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Has a current, valid driver’s license for the state in which you are employed.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Community bus or other vehicles to and from required destinations.
• Interact with residents regarding their transportation needs in a caring and considerate manner.
• Keep the Community bus or other vehicles clean and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Non-driving duties may include assisting residents in the dining room, bussing tables, and light housekeeping.
