Century Park Associates in Colorado Springs is seeking a Transportation Driver to take residents to appointments and outings. The Inn at Garden Plaza community seats 20 passengers and starts at $18 per hour, requiring a CDL with passenger endorsement.

The role is full-time. The Transportation Coordinator/Driver loads, transports, and unloads residents safely, assists with boarding, maintains logs, and follows all DOT standards.

Qualifications

• Must be high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have valid commercial drivers’ license (CDL) with P endorsement in current state with satisfactory driving record.
• Prior experience with seniors preferred.
• Excellent customer service and hospitality required.
• Must complete pre-inspections and monitor vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Must adhere to Century Park’s policies and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Delivers transportation services in a pleasant manner for residents’ enjoyment.
• Transports residents safely and timely to planned activities and appointments.
• Assists residents with boarding and de-boarding vehicle, especially those with special needs.
• Maintains vehicle maintenance log and logs mileage.
• Keeps vehicle clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Represents the community professionally during outings and appointments.
• Complies with DOT standards for drivers over 10,001 lbs.
