Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living in Asheville, NC is seeking a dedicated Transportation Driver to serve residents with punctual, safe transport to destinations on campus and nearby. This universal role may also support dining room and housekeeping tasks as needed by the Community Management Team.

You will operate the community bus or other vehicles, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and ensure timely, courteous service while upholding safety protocols and resident care standards in a busy daily

Qualifications

• Requires a current, valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
• Ability to operate the community bus or other vehicles safely at all times.
• Ability to meet residents' transportation needs in a timely and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to destinations on time and in an orderly fashion.
• Assist residents in dining room and perform light non-driving duties as directed by management.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles and report any issues to management.
