Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities seeks a Transportation Coordinator (Driver) to deliver reliable, resident-focused transportation within the community. The role goes beyond driving to include coordination, scheduling, resident communication, and operational support.

You will provide services during scheduled hours, maintain vehicle readiness, assist with events, and collaborate with the programming team while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ with a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Valid state Driver’s License and clean MVR.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lifts for residents.
• Previous experience with older adults, transportation, or coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation services during scheduled hours, including designated medical days.
• Safely operate community vehicles for medical, recreational, and personal transport.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in the digital system and align with guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle readiness through routine inspections, fueling, and cleaning.
• Support programming and events with planning, logistics, and resident participation.
• Handle non-driving tasks during off-driving hours to support operations.
