Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Transportation Coordinator (Driver) for a full-time role in our community. Schedule: Full-Time 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Sunday–Thursday). You will deliver a structured transportation program, coordinate requests, and support programming activities for residents.

Responsibilities include operating vehicles, managing schedules, and assisting with resident mobility and safety. This position emphasizes community support during both driving and non-driving hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Valid state Driver’s License (Class E) and clean MVR.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lifts.
• Experience with older adults or transportation coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services during scheduled hours (including designated medical days).
• Safely operate community vehicles for medical, recreational, and personal transportation.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in the digital system, keeping schedules accurate.
• Maintain vehicle readiness with inspections, cleaning, fueling, and good condition.
• Support Entertainment & Programming team with outings, planning, logistics, and safety adherence.
• During non-driving hours, provide community support and other operational tasks.
