Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a Transportation Aide – CNA to ensure the safe and compassionate transportation of residents to appointments and activities while providing attentive care. The role requires professionalism, strong patient care skills, and safe driving practices at all times.

Responsibilities include safely transporting residents, monitoring comfort and safety, observing changes, assisting with mobility, and recording vitals as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas is required.
• Must pass DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
• Completes the Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Strong communication, patience and attention to detail are essential.
• Comfortable with caregiving and safe vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely Transport Residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities.
• Ensure Resident Comfort by monitoring safety and comfort during transport.
• Observe & Report changes in residentsondition during transport.
• Assist with Mobility using assistive devices and proper technique.
• Monitor Vital Signs when needed during transport.
• Support the Team by assisting with CNA duties in the facility when not transporting.
