Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a part-time Transportation Coordinator (Driver) in Denver, CO. The role covers scheduled medical, recreational, and personal transportation, plus coordination, scheduling, and resident communication within the community.

Responsibilities include driving, coordinating requests in the transportation system, vehicle readiness, and supporting entertainment events. Must be 21+, with 3+ years driving and a valid license, in a POSTED environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Must have a valid state Driver’s License (Class E in Missouri) and Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lift systems while assisting residents with mobility needs.
• Previous experience with older adults, transportation, or coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation services during scheduled work hours, including coverage of designated medical transportation days (Tuesday and Thursday).
• Safely operate community vehicles to provide medical, recreational, and personal transportation to residents.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in our digital transportation management system, ensuring schedules are accurate and aligned with community transportation guidelines and availability.
• Maintain vehicle readiness by completing routine inspections and ensuring vehicles are clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
• Support the Entertainment & Programming team with scheduled outings and events, including planning, logistics, resident participation, and adherence to safety protocols and return schedules.
• During non-driving hours, provide community support as needed, including programming, interdepartmental support, and other operational tasks, maintaining consistent productivity throughout scheduled work hours.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in our digital transportation management system, ensuring schedules are accurate and aligned with community transportation guidelines and availability.
