The position emphasizes safety, coordination with hospitals and clinics, and efficient scheduling. A valid driver’s license and CNA-related training help ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's Licensure is required to operate transport.
• Nurse Aide Training & Competency Evaluation Program preferred but not necessary.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required by many SNF/ALF settings.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate transportation of residents to and from physician appointments.
• Transport residents to inpatient and outpatient programs and to/from facilities.
• Develop driving schedule based on resident appointments and needs.
• Provide reports on resident status during transportation to clinical staff.
