Job summary

Necco is seeking a Resident Transporter to provide safe transportation for residents to appointments and activities, while ensuring security and supervision at all times. You will assist in therapeutic interventions and maintain accurate transport records.

The role requires a valid driver's license, background checks, CPR/First Aid and SCM certification, and the ability to lift materials up to 50 lb. Training and compliance are ongoing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with <6 points on record.
• Six months experience with target population preferred.
• Clear background checks including FBI, BCI, ARCS, SACWIS/ Alleged Perpetrator Search, & National Sex Offender Registry Search
• CPR/First Aid and SCM certification required.
• Interact professionally with residents, families, and staff.
• Able to lift 50 lb and perform physical tasks.
• Annual TB tests and required screenings.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to doctor appointments, therapy visits, and off-campus activities.
• Provide direct supervision and ensure safety during transport.
• Assist in therapeutic interventions with residents.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings; participate in committee work as needed.
• Maintain transport paperwork, receipts, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with agency transport policies and procedures.
• Wear appropriate attire for daily duties.
