Hireology is seeking a dependable Transportation Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments and community activities. You will support clinical staff and help residents feel comfortable and cared for throughout transport.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered service, effective communication with facilities, and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in good standing required.
• Valid Driver’s license in good standing.
• Successful completion of a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Ability to safely assist with resident transfers and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and transport residents to and from medical appointments and community facilities.
• Develop and follow a daily driving schedule based on resident needs.
• Transport new or returning residents from hospitals or other facilities.
• Observe residents during transport and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with safe lifting, transferring, and mobility support as directed by clinical staff.
• Maintain the facility vehicle—keep it clean, safe, and in good condition.
• Communicate professionally with hospitals, clinics, and outside providers for scheduling.
• Notify nursing leadership of changes in appointment times or transportation needs.
• Provide hydration and ensure resident comfort during transport.
• Protect resident belongings and maintain confidentiality at all times.

What You’ll Do
