Job summary

Heritage Wellness and Rehabilitation in Independence, MO is seeking a dependable Resident Transportation Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments and other healthcare facilities. You will work closely with the nursing and clinical teams to ensure timely, comfortable, and secure transport.

Requirements include a valid driver's license and a compassionate, professional demeanor. CNA certification is preferred but not required; CPR/BLS training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Experience in medical or resident transportation is a plus.
• CNA certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule resident transportation based on appointment times and needs.
• Safely transport residents to and from doctor appointments, hospitals, and other facilities.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and transportation as directed by clinical staff.
• Report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety, and manage mileage logs.
