Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old, of good moral character, and have genuine concern for elderly and disabled.
• Must have CPR, First Aid Training, and wheelchair safety training.
• Preferably certified nursing assistant.

Responsibilities

• Make all appointments for residents after notification by facility staff.
• Maintain a calendar of all appointments to avoid conflicts.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure safest transports.
• Maintain required logs for each transport and each vehicle.
• Complete Quality Assurance monitors per policies.
• Establish and maintain a maintenance schedule for each vehicle.
