Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid NC Driver’s License with appropriate driving record.
• 21+ years old, good character, empathy for elderly/disabled.
• Registered as CNA or EMT in North Carolina (DFS).
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Ability to plan, organize, and follow-up on work assignments.
• Transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all aspects of transporting residents.
• Maintains facility vehicle maintenance and logs.
• Represents the facility professionally with medical providers.
• Makes appointments for patients and maintains calendars.
• Maintains coordination with community, hospital, and other facilities to assure service delivery.
• Takes specimens or items to hospital/clinic as requested.
• Procures supplies from local vendors as needed.
