Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Transportation Coordinator (CNA/EMT) to manage resident transports and coordinate with hospitals and clinics. The role includes maintaining transport logs, scheduling appointments, and ensuring vehicle maintenance in a compassionate care setting.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid NC driver’s license, be DFS-registered as a CNA or EMT, and maintain CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with DFS as a Nursing Assistant or EMT in NC.
• Must maintain a current CPR certification via the American Heart Association.
• Valid NC Driver’s License with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all aspects of transporting residents of the facility.
• Maintains required logs of each transport and for each vehicle.
• Represents the facility professionally when dealing with medical providers.
• Makes appointments for patients and maintains a calendar of appointments.
• Ensures routine maintenance is carried out on vehicles used for transports.
