Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Transportation Coordinator (CNA or EMT) to manage resident transport and vehicle maintenance in a full-time daytime role.

You will coordinate appointments, maintain transport logs, liaise with hospitals and clinics, and ensure safe, timely patient transfers.

Valid NC CNA or EMT registration, CPR certification, and a clean driving record are required, with preference for transportation experience.

Qualifications

• Valid NC Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• 21 years of age or older, good moral character.
• Must be registered with DFS as Nursing Assistant or EMT in NC.
• Must maintain CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Ability to plan, organize, and follow-up on work assignments.
• Ability to make independent decisions and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of transporting residents of the facility.
• Assure proper maintenance of all facility vehicles.
• Represent the facility professionally with medical providers.
• Make all appointments for patients and maintain a calendar.
• Maintain required transport and vehicle logs.
• Ensure routine maintenance for vehicles used in transports.
• Establish and maintain a maintenance schedule for each vehicle.
• Maintain community, hospital, and agency relations for coordinated services.
• Take specimens to hospital/clinic as requested.
• Make purchases from local suppliers as requested by staff.
