Fort Worth ISD invites applications for a Resident Teacher: ELEVATE/ACE (Accelerating Campus Excellence) - Pool. The role supports campus education by assisting, planning, and delivering instruction, while mentoring with experienced educators.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree; education major preferred. Bilingual abilities are a plus. This exempt, full-time position includes a 212-day schedule and a $68,000 pay grade with opportunities to grow within the Elevate model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Major in Education or a field related to the subject taught preferred.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred in some settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with teachers to plan and implement lessons, activities, and assessments.
• Provides individual or small group instruction to reinforce learning objectives.
• Supports students in developing academic and social-emotional skills.
• Attends meetings, observes mentors, and engages in reflective practices.
• Maintains communication with parents/guardians about student progress.
• Performs as a substitute teacher to ensure instructional continuity when needed.
