Job summary

Community Housing Innovations (CHI) is seeking a full-time Resident Support Specialist Supervisor for our Smithtown site. You will oversee RSS staff, conduct performance meetings, and ensure compliance with CHI and funder guidelines.

Duties include scheduling, on-site trainings, and crisis communication. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred) and 2+ years in management or human services, with strong English skills; bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years in management or human services fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Resident Support Specialist staff and conduct regular one-to-one meetings.
• Ensure trainings are up to date and provide on-site coaching.
• Schedule RSS shifts and maintain coverage at the Smithtown location.
• Coordinate with CHI and external entities; manage communications and crises.
• Maintain documentation, logs, and incident reports to meet regulations.
